Edinburgh University Press (EUP) describes itself as “the premier Scottish publisher of academic books and journals”.
Anna Faherty worked with EUP’s Head of Books Publishing and training consultancy Marketability to develop and deliver a one day in-house workshop for editorial and marketing staff. Designed to boost delegates confidence when developing digital products the session covered:
- Identifying textbook product success factors
- Asking the right market questions
- Creating an effective product story
- Appreciating and identifying digital opportunities
Delegates were also tasked with developing their own individual action plans for new digital products or services.
