Audience Labs was born at the Royal Opera House (ROH) in London’s Covent Garden, a location with a centuries-old tradition of performance. Introducing the creative practices of opera and ballet to immersive technologies provided a unique opportunity to look, not just at new types of performance, but new ways of working.
Anna Faherty collaborated with the Head of Audience Labs, Annette Mees, and designer and art director Geri Dempsey to develop accessible content that documented what Audience Labs achieved in its life at the ROH and the lessons learned in the process. This involved structural editing, content design, writing and editing. The final output was shared as a published document and a website.
